It’s called ” daun rerama ” in Malaysia, or butterfly leaf, and it became phenomenal since 2015 as many Malaysians started to consume the leaf as an alternative remedy for cancer, SLE, dengue, stroke and asthma among many others.
Preliminary studies by Universiti Putra Malaysia ( UPM ) to the plant known as the ‘ butterfly leaf ‘ or its scientific name Christiavespertilionis found it shows the characteristics of anti- inflammatory and anti-cancer.
